Points positifs : Le logement est très bien situé et joliment décoré et fonctionnel. Il est dans une rue calme, dans un quartier avec beaucoup de commodités autour donc très pratique !

Points négatifs : La literie n’était pas ultra confortable, les matelas avaient tendance à s’affaisser mais pour une nuit ce n’était pas très grave

Points positifs : L’appartement est très agréable et extrêmement bien situé pour visiter Paris. Aucun problème pour s’installer grâce aux indications précises fournies à l’avance par message, ce qui permet une arrivée en toute autonomie. Le logement se compose d’une grande pièce pouvant accueillir jusqu’à six couchages (un lit double et deux lits banquettes simples ou doubles, tous de très bonne qualité). Nous étions un couple avec trois jeunes enfants, et cela a parfaitement convenu. La pièce est équipée d’une cuisine, et il y a également une salle de bain avec douche. L’appartement donne sur une cour intérieure, à l’écart de la rue : c’est très joli et surtout très calme. Tout est accessible à pied (restaurants, supermarché, services, métro, etc.).

Points négatifs : Quelques petits détails pourraient rendre l'appartement parfait : plusieurs tiroirs s'ouvrent ou se ferment difficilement, la hotte ne semblait pas fonctionner, et certains éléments de cuisine manquent. À noter également que les rideaux ne sont pas occultant, ce qui empêche de faire le noir complet en fin de journée lorsque la lumière du jour persiste (mais cela dépend des habitudes de chacun).

Points positifs : L'emplacement et l'originalité de dormir à plusieurs dans la même pièce

Points négatifs : On a découvert des dessous de draps sales au réveil le matin

Points positifs : Le calme, le métro juste en face de la rue, proximité de plusieurs magasins et restaurants, 10 minutes de la place Bastille ! La gentillesse de l’hôte et la possibilité de laisser nos bagages avant l’heure requise.

Points négatifs : Oh pas grand chose, juste un manque de vaisselle

Points positifs : Me and my son had a wonderful stay at Atelier des Shadoks! The apartment was very well equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay — from a well-stocked kitchen to thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. The location was perfect, close to public transport and in a charming area, which made exploring Paris very easy. The porch was an extra benefit, especially for families with children! The place was spotless and well-maintained, and the check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. I would definitely recommend Atelier des Shadoks to anyone looking for a cozy, convenient, and stylish stay in Paris.

Studio in a beautiful courtyard-a much better option than a similarly priced hotel room

Points positifs : The apartment is in a very pretty courtyard, and well located for metros and exploring Paris. It is walking distance to places such as Bastille and Place de Vosges and well connected by metro. The apartment is also larger than a family room in a basic Paris hotel would be, which is nice. The simple room served its purpose and the kitchen area had everything I needed and even some basic food items such as coffee and cereals, plus some chocolate, which was a nice touch. The host had provided a fan which was effective whilst I was there (but it was not too hot outside). The multifunctional furniture had also been well thought out- I thought it looked better in real life than in the photo.

Points négatifs : I found it very hard to get into the apartment when I arrived. First gate is fine, but then looking for the keybox was not fun. I cannot say too much without giving away its location, but I needed a torch and a lot of patience. The courtyard has more than one staircase, and these are not clearly labelled, so it is also hard to know what gate to open next even once you have the keys in your hands. By the time I had done all that, I got confused by the outward opening gate to the stairwell! The room could benefit from better curtains (only 1 thin curtain per window which was also hard to pull across) and I would have appreciated an iron and full length mirror (I was there for a special occasion, and couldn't iron or check my outfit). These points certainly shouldn't put you off staying there.
