Location location location

Points positifs : - Location was fabulous in central Paris. Notre Dame 5 minutes away. Close to 2 metro stations. Apartment was in a safe area with lots of restaurants and shops nearby - Washing machine came in handy - Good wifi - Small kitchen - Apartment size was decent for Paris

Points négatifs : - No elevator. We were aware of this when booking but just wanted to let others know that there are 58 steps on a narrow spiral staircase so bear that in mind if you have big suitcases or mobility issues - The apartment is located on a busy street with lots of restaurants, therefore lots of noise late into the night.

Points positifs : Great location, on a friendly street of cafes, bars and everyone enjoying themselves. Stylish traditional Paris apartment with everything you need, but not a lot of space. Special thanks to Georges who came at short notice to help us settle in.

Points négatifs : Exactly as described, access is up narrow stairs, 3 floors up. Georges helped us with suitcases on arrival, thank you. But you probably don't want to bring Granny to stay here.

Points positifs : Excellent location, felt very safe walking around, even in the early hours. Had all the essentials needed. Netflix was available if we wanted to stay in.

Points négatifs : Can get noisy during the night. Stairs are very windy and steep so not suitable for everyone. There were stains in the bed linen used on the sofa bed. In addition to the city tax, there was an additional €80 that we had to pay when we got to the apartment because we arrived just 21:00, we felt that this extra cost should have been pointed out in the information section of the property and not after we had made the booking.

Excellent location, pleasant host. Good value for money.

Points positifs : Easy communication with pleasant host. The lively neighbourhood had a lot to offer and felt safe for the children to go out by themselves. Very nice location close to Metro and RER, so perfect base camp for exploring the entire city. Simple, but complete facilities made it possible to make our own meals if we wanted.

Points négatifs : The street outside was busy with life until midnight (no traffic). We are used to quiet and to sleep with the windows open - but we had to close the windows and use the fans only, and it was a very warm (July). We managed though, and I imagine this will not be an issue in the cooler parts of the year.

Small but charming apartment, perfect for a couple or family with children.

Points positifs : Perfect location, lovely view from the window, good value for money for this location.

Points négatifs : Noise during the night was the only minus, but we expected it as it's a busy street with lots of restaurants.

Wonderful stay - would give it 12 stars if I could!

Points positifs : Fabulous location! Wonderful old building with well appointed apartment in the heart of the Latin Quarter. The facilities were generous and the bed was super comfy. Just a short walk (3 mins) to the Metro, RER and many attractions. If you need quiet to sleep this may not be the place for you as the hustle and bustle of the street below gives a background noise to the apartment. My daughter and I loved it however; we loved watching life go by below from the windows. The stairs were old and windy but well worth the climb.

Points positifs : The location is spectacular. steps from Notre Dame and right next to a major metro station Right on a tiny street full of restaurants, cafes and creperies. Great places for breakfast and food shopping all around Great shower, cozy apartment, we managed to sleep four (2 adults, two kids) It's tiny, but it's all we needed to enjoy Paris for a week

Points négatifs : Unclear why the bidet is in one bathroom, while the toilet is in the other Three flights of steep stairs were fine for us, but I can imagine being an issue for a few people
