Points positifs : Super emplacement à 5min du métro. Superbe appart haussmanien avec 2 chambres et un salon dans un cadre où on se sent en sécurité. Aucun problème lié au fait d être au Rez de chaussée, vraiment super expérience à Paris. Marcela est une hôte très accessible et responsive. J’y retournerai assurément!

Points positifs : Appartement situé dans une rue calme. À 5 minutes à pied du métro, des bus, commerces, restaurants. Très bon accueil de l'hôte, qui a tout mis en place pour que nous puissions récupérer les clés dans les meilleurs conditions. Appartement chaleureux et cosy.

Nice roomy apartment in safe 16th arrondissement

Points positifs : + roomy; lovely old apartment with original molding; location was safe and there were many restaurants and grocery stores within easy walking distance; host was very responsive and flexible about early check-in and had great recommendations for restaurants; washing products (dishwasher and washing machine detergent, soap) were supplied.

Points négatifs : -It felt like living in someone’s home; there was a lot of clutter (e.g., two piles of magazines on the floor) and personal items left in the apartment. Kitchen was also cluttered, and it was difficult to find a place to put our groceries. As a previous reviewer said, there’s a lot of “stuff” everywhere. The #10 metro line is one-way outbound when it gets to the stop closest to the apartment, so if you’re going into Paris, you have to change metros, which adds another 10-15 minutes to the ride time. Apartment is on ground floor and windows are right on the sidewalk, so we kept the blinds closed the whole time.

Charming apartment in a residential neighborhood

Points positifs : Beautiful small apartment in 16th Arrondissement, so it was lovely residential experience (not touristy). The neighbor providing the key told us about a Sat morning farmer's market, which we enjoyed a lot - felt like we were part of the neighborhood! The owner gave us recommendations for local restaurants, which we enjoyed. We were close to a couple of metro stops. We could walk to the Monet Marmottan museum. Points négatifs : Not much to disagree with. It would be good for people to know that the location is a bit further on the metro and often you have to switch trains to get to the big attraction areas (Tour Eiffel, Notre Dame, Montmartre, etc). Not a big deal, but be aware of the travel time in scheduling.

A Comfortable, Spacious Pied a Terre in a Great Neighborhood

Points positifs : The lighting was good (apart from a few burned out bulbs). It was well furnished and quite spacious. The location is superb. The kitchen has everything. The ground floor location was convenient. Ample stores and cafes nearby. The woman who checked me in was gracious and welcoming. All washing products were supplied, even a nice big bar of soap! Hot water plentiful. Bed was comfortable and closing the exterior shutters in the bedroom served to darken it effectively.

Points négatifs : It was cold and, because the weather in Paris had turned cold recently, the building had not yet turned on the heat. There was no means to warm any room save the front parlor using the artificial fireplace (which doubled as a forced-air heater). I was offered an extra comforter for the bed. The cold was not a big or lasting problem. Just bad luck. The property is spacious but I thought it overstuffed to the point of being cluttered. I had ample room and storage, but every inch of space is packed with “stuff.” Nothing wrong with that, just know that another persons possessions are everywhere. There was not a clothes drying rack available for my use despite the listing as the owner uses it to dry sheets between renters. There is an electric towel dryer in the bath that sufficed to dry my clothes overnight.
