A Great Place to Stay in Paris

Points positifs : A truly fantastic apartment at the very heart of the city center. It is within walking distance to all the Paris attractions, close to bars and restaurants and yet on a narrow quiet street. The place offers all the necessary amenities and the ensuite bathrooms give the group all the privacy and comfort of separate hotel rooms. The easy unlocking with a code made it possible for all of us to come and go at different times, if needed, without exchanging keys.

Great size, great flat, good number of bathrooms, excellent location.

Points positifs : This large flat is located in a building that has a mix of offices and apartments. It has two proper working elevators, not your typical tiny Parisian ones. Of its 3 bedrooms, 2 have ensuite bathrooms. The kitchen is well-equipped and we were able to cook during our stay there. The furnishings were comfortable, bedlinens clean abd towels fluffy. There is even a small balcony. The building was easy to access and the flat itself locked electronically - it was a relief to not have to mess around with keys. All members of the group could leave and return at will without worrying who is holding the keys. There was a Monop’ a couple hundred meters away, but if you walk further afield, tons of other supermarket options. Also nearby: restaurants, hair salons, and the interesting Passage des Panoramas.

Points négatifs : The property is located on a street that gets very noisy in the evenings when the after-work crowd goes for happy hour. However, the noise did not reach up to our floor. Actually, it may even be a good thing because we felt safer going out in the evenings because it was so busy there. Pickaflat, the property management company, were not easily reachable once you’ve checked in. Our simple request went unanswered, except for an SMS that came mid-stay to check in on us. This SMS we tried to reply to but failed multiple times, so we assumed that they’re not serious about establishing communication. If they took it seriously, they would have reached out via WhatsApp. Also the company has check-in forms, they have check-out forms lol so make sure you don’t mind filling in forms. Otherwise this place was really great, and we loved it.

Points négatifs : que tuviese pocos productos de limpieza. El enchufe de uno de los baños no andaba

Points positifs : Prima locatie, centraal in 2de arrondissement en toch rustig. Toegang verliep vlekkeloos via de tijdig toegestuurde pincodes. Ruime slaapkamers met aparte badkamer per slaapkamer, lag er onberispelijk bij. Kinderbedjes waren aanwezig en perfect bij te plaatsen. Volledig uitgeruste keuken tot en met diepvriezer en wasmachine-droogkast. Om terug te komen!

Points négatifs : Er mag iets meer keukengereedschap (pannen en kommen) ter beschikking staan voor het geval je echt wil koken ter plaatse.
