Le Montparnasse - Wifi - Climatisation

Points positifs : L'emplacement, l'appart et l'organisation de l'appart.

Points négatifs : Ns n'avons pas apprécié devoir aller chercher une clé à 500 mètres et que les explications n'étaient pas conformes car le 305 rue St'Jacques ne menait nulle part et que la clé se retrouvait au Mini Carrefour tout à côté, hasard d'avoir retrouvé la clé à cet endroit! Pour l'appart, vs n'avez qu'à dire 2ième étage partie B, porte à droite pourquoi parler du 4ième palier, recherche inutile, pas facile d'aller chercher une clé vers les 20h le soir avec la fatigue du voyage (décalage horaire parfois), j'espère que tout ceci pourra améliorer certaines choses car l'appart est vraiment bien. Great expectations but disappointing.

Points positifs : This is an excellently located, very spacious, thoughtfully-renovated apartment in a historic studio precinct. The space is well-renovated and has air conditioning, an island bench kitchen and a well-designed bathroom, It has beautiful wooden flooring, tall double-glazed French windows, attractive décor un peu bohème, tall bookshelves with an interesting array of books and a good kitchen. A short walk to the cafes of the Bvd. du Montparnasse, the Bvd. Raspail, the Rue de Rennes, the shops of the 6th arrondissement, métro stations and the Gare Montparnasse. A very pleasant walk through the Jardin du Luxembourg to the Bvd. Saint-Germain, the Bvd. Saint Michel, the Latin Quarter, the Musée de Cluny, the Panthéon and Rue Mouffetard.

Points négatifs : The apartment is over-priced considering the lack of attention to detail and consideration for guest comfort. There was a disappointingly inadequate level of maintenance and a general atmosphere of neglect incompatible with the amount charged. While the island bench kitchen was very modern and easy to use, the under-stair storage facilities for crockery made accessing it difficult. In the main living area, the indoor plants were neglected and going brown. One of the two air conditioning units there only worked sporadically. The curtains were coming off the curtain rails. There was no access to France Télévisions channels for those without a France TV account - easy access to French TV should be a basic provision by the owner for those who want to watch a wide range of TV programmes in French, especially the national evening news. In the bathroom, two of the vanity drawers were full of the owner's toiletries, there was a leak from the washing machine, the laundry cupboard did not close properly, the painted finish of the cupboard doors needed upgrading and the light over the vanity mirror did not work. The towels were rough - fabric softener doesn't cost that much! In the bedroom, the bed was not carefully made. Insuffiecient and very poor quality pillows - with no pillow slips on them !! What extra linen there was was very carelessly rolled up and crammed into cupboards, with more of the owner's possessions. We chose this apartment for convenience, but the quality:price ratio is poor. For over 480 euros a night - the price of a **** hotel in the area - the least the owner should invest in and provide is a bathroom in complete working order, plenty of easy-to-access storage space for crockery, glassware and linen, well-presented linen for guests, and quality pillows (with pillow slips!) for a good night's rest. With the owner's possessions stored out of the rental space!
