Fantastic home in a great area, with a wonderful host.

Points positifs : The house is an extremely quirky, bright and airy penthouse in a lively, busy area of Paris, really convenient for most locations - Notre Dame, Place De La Concorde, Louvre, Musee D'Orsay, the Seine all within 2km or 30 minute walk, Eiffel Tower area maybe 5km away, perfect for us as we loved walking around the city. It has a little roof terrace and a balcony, two comfortable bedrooms, a massive walk-in shower room with rain shower and hose. You'll be sharing a well loved home rather than an empty rental property, it's full of family touches. Upstairs was a huge TV with the usual streaming services and a Playstation 5. Gio is a wonderful host who is full of advice and concern your stay is going well, always available to answer questions. We knew before arriving there are a lot of stairs and no elevator so that wasn't a problem for us, but might be for some people.

Points négatifs : There's very little storage space for clothes - nowhere to hang anything, so we had to live out of suitcases for our stay. The shower room, while very impressive, has large glass windows and a glass door with no curtains - these look onto the living room and downstairs bedroom; so privacy may be an issue for some.

Points positifs : Prima locatie, heel centraal gelegen, dicht bij de metro, geen overlast van geluid in huis.

Points négatifs : We waren er niet van op de hoogte dat het appartement op de achtste etage was en dat er geen lift was. Als je met een knieblessure bagage naar boven moet sjouwen, is dat geen pretje.

Points positifs : This property was wonderful! The location is very convenient to everything. The property is not a sparsely furnished vacation home. It is a homey space with all the amenities you could possibly need thoughtfully provided. The outdoor spaces were a great addition. The host was phenomenal and was always available with suggestions or to offer help!
