Points positifs : The apartment is very nicely decorated and clean. The beds are very comfortable and and the showers are luxurious. The apartment is situated in a vibrant and lively neighbourhood. Lots of good restaurants, bakeries and supermarkets are within walking distance. The communication with the host was remarkably easy.

Points négatifs : It’s a detail but if I would improve something it would be the curtains. Some of them were not hanging correctly anymore so that a lot of the street lights (especially from the cinema opposite the apartment) came into the apartment which made it difficult for the kids to sleep.

A clean little gem in the heart of Paris, a perfect place for the family to venture out of.

Points positifs : The apartment was very clean, spacious, well appointed for travelers (equipped kitchen, iron, decent sized dining area and table, comfortable sitting room, flat screen tv's, 2 QUEEN sized beds (not king) very comfortable beds & pillows, and with nice linens. And despite being on an intersection with a busy street, it was surprisingly quiet and had good blackout shades. The owner was very responsive and there are good restaurants in the neighborhood. The instructions to find the key were spot on. The unit has two sink/shower rooms (one en suite) and one toilet room. The view of the Roxy theater across the street was treat and made for some outstanding photos both during the day and at night. For architecture buffs, the original wood stairs to the apartment were a marvel in construction with almost each tread boasting an elegant and unique curve.

Points négatifs : The outer carriage door entry area to the interior courtyard smelled of urine (most likely from the two homeless men sleeping on the sidewalk across the street whose lives were dramatic, fascinating, and tragic all at the same time). The same interior courtyard was very dimly lit and could easily be improved by cleaning the lens of one of the lights and replacing the other. The lack of light initially made the key difficult to locate but after the first time, it was not a problem. Although the original staircase was a lovely design, it is a hike when carrying suitcases up three levels and with timed lighting of the stairwell, you may end up startled by the darkness on trips at night if bringing up your luggage. TIP: there are push buttons on the landings to restart the illumination. The are short steps in a few places on the interior of the unit which can be trip hazards when unfamiliar with the layout. We placed a book on either side of stair in the entry hall to clearly delineate the most bothersome one and then didn't have any problem after that. I highly recommend doing that. None of these items should discourage you from staying here. The pluses definitely outweigh the minuses. It is a lovely place with lots of room for four people, or six, if willing to sleep on the pull out sofa and share a single toilet room.

Points positifs : Eine schöne, sehr saubere Wohnung. Alles hat gut funktioniert. Spannend ist die Lage gegenüber dem Kino (Rex). Die Umgebung ist lebhaft mit vielen Restaurants. In der Wohnung ist es trotzdem ruhig.

Points négatifs : Es sind zwar zwei Badezimmer vorhanden, aber nur eine Toilette.

comfy and safe stay-in right in center

Points positifs : Great location, excellent host. He really helped a lot for instructions for entry, transportation whatever you might need to explore city. We felt quite safe with the area. There are many restaurants, cafes around. walking distance to train (our main destination was disneyland). Access to apartment was easy. Apartment is pretty comfy and cozy especially for families with children. Next visit, i would definitely stay here again.
