Great apartment in convenient location.

Points positifs : Really convenient location. Lovely flat. Beautiful views. Great to have a lift in the building.

Points négatifs : The heating was on constantly. While this was great during the mornings and evenings, especially as the weather was so cold, overnight it became quite hot. It might have been centrally controlled in the building.

Cute apartment in great location

Points positifs : Perfect location if arriving on the Eurostar, right across the road. Also walking distance to metro stations for easily getting around Paris. The host was communicative and very flexible with allowing early bag drop, unfortunately we didn't get to meet due to conflicting schedules but the welcome pastries were a lovely touch. Great having only one flight of stairs with elevator the rest of the way so no problem getting cases up.

Points négatifs : More suitable for a single or couple, it's a little cramped if using the sofa bed. No air conditioning, it is safe to have the windows open but there can be a lot of noise from the street at night

Very pleased we booked and had a great stay in Paris....

Points positifs : Random thoughts.....Mar is really nice, she met us at the property and told us things we needed to know, she is friendly and helpful. The location is great - 2 mins walk from Gare du Nord - I know some say a dodgy area, however we found it fine (2 adults and 12 year old). Always felt safe, a bit of noise didn't concern us, and the property has double-glazing so quiet in the apartment. Close to lots of eating options and the metro and RER lines at the station. Great shower and nice views of Sacre Couer from the windows....

Points négatifs : There was an issue which may or may not be a problem for you. Mar lives in the apartment and vacated it when we arrived. Consequently every single drawer and cupboard was full of her belongings. We had to live out of our suitcases for a week, in what is a relatively small space. not what we expected or even thought of asking about before we booked. HOWEVER if you a travelling light or don't mind not being able to unpack this may not be an issue for you. That was the only downside we found, so the positives definitely outweigh this issue.
